All British passport holders must obtain the holiday visa in advance at least 72 hours prior and not more than 30 days in advance of your departure.
The cost for an Indian Tourist Visa for 1 month is US$25 (approx. - £22) from July - March & US$10 (approx. - £10) from April - June, and you can purchase from the India Government website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html. Failure to comply with entry requirements will result in travel being denied or entry being refused.

If it’s rest and relaxtion you are looking for Baga Beach is your haven, it’s a popular beach but hasn’t lost its idyllic qualities! Its sandy shores and stunning palm-lined backdrop immediately makes you feel at one with yourself. Places to have a drink or a bite to eat are within reach from the beach, turning from sleepy establishments to lively entertainment spots when the sunsets.
Water sports
Water lovers rejoice as at the beach you’ll find places to surf, water ski and more, Fishing is also very popular with options to hire and set up base on one of the many large black rocks located on the shoreline. Boat rides are also avaible for your chance to spot dolphins – a bucket list item you’re sure to remember forever!
Diving
Diving is hugely popular in Indian waters, why not try your mask on for the chance to see tuna, cuttlefish, barracuda and many more under water life. The clear waters make the colourful coral reefs come to life, whilst many shipwrecks line the ocean floor, just waiting to be explored.
Markets
Head to Arpora village on a Saturday to sample one of its many local flea markets. Here you can grab a bargain or a keepsake to cherish, with clothes and handcrafted jewellery on sale. Alternatively for a different experience Anjuna Market will transport you back to the 60’s with the wares and colourful offerings it brings.
Capital Panjim
A short ferry ride along the Mandovi River will see you arrive in Panjim. Comparable to Lisbon, is renown for its stunning architecture, with white washed buildings and red tiled roofs dotted around the hills, making it the most picturesque of places
Health and Rejuvenation
India is well renown for its health and rejuvenation remedies, seize the opportunity and book yourself in for a treatment to rejuvenate the body. Goa has many opportunities to learn the basic principals of Yoga to relieve your stresses at a local class. For those after further detox, a traditional pancha-karma offers the most invigorating example of Ayrvedic treatments available.
Arts and Crafts
Festive Indian arts can be admired as you pass through villages to see ‘Rangoli’ floor painting and flower weavers making some impressive pieces of art. Decorate yourself with a henna tattoo which will leave a lasting memory on this singles holiday, and something to show off when you arrive back home!
Spice Plantation
Spice up your holiday with a journey through a spice plantation placed in the heart of panoramic mountain views and exotic vegetation. Witness everyday spices being refined directly at the farm by experienced workers. Learn about the spice trade and sample some of the spices.
Wildlife Sanctuary
Visit the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, to see tigers, while elephants, leopards and other wild animals roam their luscious green environment. Exotic birds will fly above you, as you explore the sanctuary’s jungle.
