    Havana

    El Malecon

Considered by Cubans as the world’s longest bench, Havana’s El Malecon is essentially a seafront avenue, where you’ll find locals escaping the humidity to feel the cooling sea breeze. While away the hours, overlooking a backdrop of vivid painted buildings and experience its romantic atmosphere.

    Fabrica de Tabaco Partagas

No trip to Cuba would be complete without sampling the local rum and cigars! Take a tour to see how one of Cuba’s most famous exports (the Cohiba or Monte Cristo) are made – the famous Cuban Cigar. Watch as workers show you the process of rolling the cigars by hand - a method that is still practiced today – and what’s more they still use the same equipment and techniques as when it first opened its doors in 1845.

    Castillo de la Real Fuerza

Considered an engineering marvel and one of the oldest existing forts in the Americas built to guard the city, with construction starting in 1558 and finishing in 1577. The building is located in Old Havana’s historical centre and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982.

    Botanical Gardens

Step away from the hustle and bustle of Havana and into the calm, soothing environment of The Botanical Gardens. With six hundred hectares of Cuban land, abundant with tropical fauna and flora within your grasp, there’s a serene paradise waiting for you to explore.

    Cathedral of San Cristobal

If you’re looking for striking architecture be sure to visit The Cathedral of San Cristobal in Old Havana, admired by tourists world-over. Built in the 16th century, the church's baroque façade and asymmetrical towers, help make it one of the most visited attractions in Havana. If you really want to experience it in all its glory, visit on a Sunday morning to attend the celebration of the Christian Eucharist.

    Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.

Heralded as the finest art gallery in the Caribbean, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, spread over two buildings, showcases over 30,000 pieces of Cuba’s finest arts and sculptures, waiting for you to admire, whilst you escape the heat.

    Varadero

Despite it being a place to relax and unwind under swaying palms, Varadero has so much more to offer aside from just sheer bliss! From cultural delights and historic sites, to shopping and entertainment, there’s more to just life on the beach.

    Xanadu Mansion

Owing to its stunning location overlooking the beach, this small hotel built in the 1920's by U.S millionaire Irenee Du Pont - complete with a nine-hole course – has managed to retain all the style and sophistication as it did in the 1920’s, making it a truly magical place to visit.

    Municipal Museum

Dating back to 1921, this two-storey wooden building is a great example of a typical beach house from that period. Located in the town of Varadero, it now displays archaeological artefacts of aboriginal people of the region, in addition to photographs, historical furniture, maps and objects from the town.

    Bacunayagua Bridge

The highest bridge on Cuba, the Bacunayagua Bridge is a stylish arch bridge spanning over 110m across the Yumuri Valley. The best way to explore is by hiring a car and driving through the valley to take in the spectacular views.

    International Centre for Air Sports

Looking for an exhilarating thrill whilst on holiday or simply looking to make it a singles holiday to remember, be sure to visit the International Centre for Air Sports where you can reach great heights, trying your hand at skydiving and parachute jumping!

    Cuevas de Bellamar

Like straight out of a National Geographic magazine, Cuevas de Bellamar offers you the chance to see a 23km cave system of galleries and caverns of mesmerising beauty. With stalactites, stalagmites and helictites, these caves are thought to be the oldest tourist attraction in Cuba and well worth a visit

    Shopping

Take back a momentum from your holiday, visit Plaza America shopping complex, a vast selection of shops for all your retail needs. Here you’ll find traditional Cuban cigars and rum and other Cuban goods, whilst on the beach you’ll find local vendors selling handcrafted souvenirs.

All activities are optional extras unless included in your package. Your Go Singles representative will be on hand to offer advice on the prices and these can be booked locally at the resort - subject to availability.
