WHAT'S TRAFFIC LIGHTS SYSTEM FOR TRAVEL?

Holidays abroad are to be allowed from 17 May 2021 for people in England and Scotland.

The UK government has divided Countries into three categories - green, amber and red (Traffic Light System). Their status depends partly on the number of Covid-19 cases in each country and the success of their vaccine rollout.

Green countries have the fewest rules. From 17 May, people in England and Scotland can take holidays abroad in a small number of so-called "green" countries without having to quarantine when they return. Wales and Northern Ireland have not yet announced plans to restart foreign holidays. The list will be reviewed every three weeks. Countries can be added or removed at short notice.

Below is a simple chart which will explain how the Traffic Light System works and a list GoSingles destination which are in Green, Amber and Red list.
